A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join a leading manufacturing business in the Barnstaple area.
This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for driving the people agenda across the site, partnering with senior management to support organisational growth, employee engagement, workforce planning, and operational performance.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the site HR team and HR strategy
- Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organisational development
- Manage employee relations, performance, and disciplinary matters
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention activities
- Drive employee engagement, culture change, and development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with employment law, HR policies, and best practices
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role
- Strong employee relations and performance management expertise
- Experience delivering organisational change and engagement programmes
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR compliance
- Skilled in workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
