A great opportunity to join a globally operating and successful logistics/automation company as a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer working at a well-known retailer's automated distribution centre in Hertfordshire. Ideally seeking electrically biased, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the engineering team. If you have strong electrical skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this role could be a great fit for you.

- Panama shift pattern (12 hour days and nights) (6-6)
- 24 shifts per year holiday

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on engineering to support the logistics system running smoothly
- Perform both reactive and planned maintenance on plant and equipment
- Keep maintenance records up to date using CMMS system
- Follow safety and repair best practices at all times
- Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives
Requirements of Maintenance Engineer
- Ideally fully apprenticeship trained with Level 3 engineering qualifications
- Good level of electrical and mechanical knowledge from a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Working knowledge of PLC control systems, desirably Siemens S7
- Experience of automated materials handling systems would also be an advantage but not essential
- Happy to work a shift pattern with days and nights
- Ok to work at heights when needed (via harnesses and full training etc)
