Project Coordinator – 6-Month Contract
We are recruiting a hands-on Project Coordinator to support a Project Manager on a live construction project in Bilsthorpe.
This is a practical coordination role rather than a senior project management position.
You will help keep day-to-day site activity organised, working with contractors and ensuring the required documentation, site arrangements and health and safety records are kept up to date.
- Day-to-day responsibilities
- Supporting the Project Manager with the daily coordination of the construction project.
- Assisting with health and safety activity on site.
- Coordinating contractors and site visitors.
- Completing daily project reports, toolbox talks and contractor inductions.
- Keeping drawing registers and project documents organised and up to date.
- Updating project management systems.
- Arranging site visits for employees and subcontractors.
- Supporting diary management and meeting coordination.
- Maintaining accident and working-time statistics.
- Helping with site logistics and statutory approval paperwork.
- Providing general administrative support as required.
- What we are looking for
- An
SMSTS or SSSTS qualification – this is essential .
- Previous experience in project coordination, site administration or a similar support role.
- Practical site supervision experience.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage several tasks at once.
- Confidence using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- A practical and approachable communication style when dealing with contractors, colleagues and other stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently while providing reliable support to the Project Manager.
An FLT or MEWP licence would be beneficial, although training can be provided.
