The Role: We\’re seeking an experienced Legal Recruitment Consultant to join our Glasgow office, focusing primarily on corporate and banking law placements. This is an opportunity to work with prestigious law firms and financial institutions while developing your own client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with law firms, financial institutions, and in-house legal teams
  • Source and place high-caliber legal professionals across various levels of seniority
  • Manage complex Partner and team moves
  • Provide strategic advice on law firm mergers and acquisitions
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment for solicitors, fee earners, and support staff
  • Develop business opportunities within the Company Secretarial space
  • Maintain our market-leading position through strategic business development

Required Experience:

  • Proven track record in legal recruitment, particularly within corporate or banking law
  • Strong understanding of the Scottish legal market
  • Demonstrable success in managing Partner-level appointments and team moves
  • Experience in handling confidential merger and acquisition processes
  • Established network within the legal sector
