The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant, you'll manage end-to-end recruitment processes for mid to senior-level insurance positions, building and maintaining relationships with both clients and candidates. The role will come with a strong list of clients and lapsed clients to work with, but your proactive approach will be focused on winning new opportunities to forge long lasting business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the insurance sector
- Source high-calibre candidates through various channels including networking, headhunting, and referrals
- Manage full recruitment lifecycle from job briefing to placement and aftercare
- Hit and exceed revenue targets while maintaining exceptional service standards
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to team development
- Stay current with insurance industry trends and market movements
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years experience in recruitment, preferably within insurance or other financial services sectors
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding billing targets
- Strong network within the general insurance industry
- Excellent relationship building and networking abilities
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Commercial acumen and business development capabilities
- CRM proficiency and strong database management skills
We Offer
- Competitive base salary £40,000 - £60,000 (higher for proven high achievers)
- Uncapped commission structure with OTE £80,000 - £120,000
