Are you an experienced recruitment consultant looking to focus purely on delivery without the pressure of business development? We're seeking a talented recruiter to join our expanding team specialising in the global shipping industry.
About the Role
This is a genuine 360° recruitment role where the business development is done for you. With 40+ live vacancies landing each month, you'll concentrate entirely on what you do best – sourcing, engaging and placing top talent. You'll be recruiting for a diverse range of positions up to director level across the shipping sector, working with established clients throughout the US and Europe. The roles will be varied from operational support roles (Finance, IT, Planning etc.) through to executive director and C-suite roles.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing a busy desk with a constant flow of incoming vacancies
- Sourcing and headhunting candidates using our comprehensive toolkit including full recruiter licence, extensive database, Loxo and premium job boards
- Conducting telephone interviews and building strong candidate relationships
- Managing the recruitment process from initial engagement through to offer stage
- Working closely with clients across different time zones
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in recruitment (sector experience not essential)
- Strong sourcing skills and confidence engaging candidates by telephone
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- For those covering US markets: flexibility to work 11am-8pm shifts
- Recruitment experience from any professional sector
- Recruiters that know how to source hard to reach candidates
