Are you an experienced recruiter ready to take your career and your earnings to the next level? We're looking for a driven and ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join a specialist Legal Private Practice team, focusing on the North and North East of England. This is a rare opportunity to join an established, high-performing desk within a well-respected agency that has the backing of a much larger group behind it.
The Role
You'll be working a warm, established desk placing solicitors and legal professionals across private practice firms throughout the North and North East. You'll have access to a loyal candidate and client base, but with plenty of room to make the role your own and grow your billings significantly. This is a 360 recruitment role you'll manage relationships on both sides of the desk, from business development through to offer and placement.
What's in it for you?
- Commission that rewards you properly. We operate a low monthly threshold so you start earning commission quickly, with a tiered structure that pays up to 30% because we believe the people generating the revenue should share in it meaningfully.
- Brilliant colleagues. You'll be sitting alongside some of the most experienced and successful recruiters in the legal sector. They're not just high billers they're genuinely collaborative people who want to see you succeed too.
- The tools to find candidates others can't. We've invested heavily in the latest sourcing and engagement technology, so you're not fighting with one hand tied behind your back when working on difficult searches.
- A prime Leeds city centre base with excellent facilities, on a hybrid working model that gives you the flexibility to do your best work.
- The stability and resource of a larger group, with the culture and autonomy of a specialist boutique.
What we're looking for
You'll be an experienced recruiter ideally with a background in legal recruitment, though we're open to strong billers from professional services who can demonstrate the ability to quickly learn a new specialism. More than anything, we want someone with genuine relationship-building skills, a consultative approach, and the commercial hunger to build something great. You should be comfortable working in a candidate-short market and relish the challenge of identifying and engaging with passive talent.
