The Role

We are seeking an experienced Grill Chef to lead our BBQ and grill section, specializing in authentic dishes from Indian and Pakistani cuisine. This is a key position within our kitchen brigade, responsible not only for delivering top-tier BBQ dishes but also for supervising daily operations and maintaining culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and cooking of traditional South Asian grilled and BBQ dishes.
  • Oversee mise-en-place and daily grill section operations.
  • Assist in menu planning and development in consultation with the Head Chef.
  • Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
  • Manage inventory, requisition supplies, and minimize kitchen waste.
  • Uphold health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Collaborate with curry section and support kitchen synergy.

Who We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Grill Chef in a high-end South Asian restaurant or 5-star hotel.
  • Deep knowledge of Indian and Pakistani cuisines, including regional BBQ traditions.
  • Passionate about traditional cooking techniques and flavor authenticity.
  • Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills.
  • Hospitality or culinary qualification preferred.
