We are looking for an enthusiastic Chef to join our team at our authentic Italian restaurant. Experience is welcome but not essential; what matters most is a genuine passion for food and a willingness to learn. We will provide full training to help you develop the skills needed to prepare pasta dishes, meats, and starters to a high standard. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow in a professional kitchen and be part of a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook pasta, meat dishes, and starters following our menu and recipes (full training provided).
  • Learn and maintain high standards of food quality, flavour, and presentation.
  • Keep your section and the wider kitchen clean, organised, and hygienic at all times.
  • Follow all food hygiene, safety, and health regulations.
  • Assist with stock rotation, storage, and minimising food waste.
  • Work efficiently during service while supporting other members of the kitchen team.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Show initiative, enthusiasm, and a passion for learning new skills in Italian cuisine.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is welcome but not essential; a genuine passion for food and a willingness to learn are most important.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
