Russells are one of the leading dealerships for Agricultural, Professional Groundcare, Construction and Arboriculture machinery in the UK. Russells are recruiting for a Marketing Intern to support the Marketing Team in delivering their day-to-day activities. This role will be offered on a standard contract of employment on a fixed term position of a 9 month period. The role is full time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm and based from our Malton depot. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior Marketer, student or someone looking to make their first move into Marketing. This role will offer the candidate a vast amount of experience and exposure to multiple marketing activities in a supportive and fast paced environment. This role is on a 9-month fixed term contract but with the potential for extension or a permanent role being offered. This role will be key in handling our daily marketing activities, with the view to help scale our current efforts. This role will involve working across all brands within Russells and interacting with the Russells team across multiple depot locations. In exchange for your energy and commitment, this position has the opportunity for personal growth, development of new skills and activity ownership.
Responsibilities of Marketing Intern
- Social Media Implementation: Daily posting across all Russells Brands as per marketing plans, creation of content, sharing manufacturer content and reporting.
- Content Creation: Working with the wider team to produce engaging content for our audiences, whether this be video or written. Working with the Marketing Team to create and implement campaign ideas and keep our content dynamic and fresh.
- Events: Support the sales team in regularly attending industry events to create content, help coordinate events to include shows and product launches and assist with customer hospitality.
- Machinery Sales: Support the team in uploading machinery listings to our website and taking stock photos of incoming machines.
- Online Auctions: Support the team in hosting their regular online auctions including taking stock images, uploading items, customer service support and invoicing.
- IT Support: Support the IT manager with administrative tasks, set up of new equipment and installation around depots.
- Ecommerce: Russells are due to launch a new online Parts Ecommerce site this summer, support will be required in helping to promote, create content and continue to scale this exciting new project.
Key Skills of Marketing Intern
- Social Media: Experience in using platforms such as Facebook / Instagram / TikTok, creating and editing videos, using scheduling platforms.
- Content Creation: Creating videos, capturing footage on a phone, drone usage, using platforms such as CANVA / Adobe.
- Strong IT skills with ability to write copy, check for accuracy and use multiple software programmes.
- Strong attention to detail, personable, and willing to get stuck into a variety of tasks and projects.
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- A background in agriculture or at least a passion for the industry is preferred. All candidates must be willing to champion farming and support our customer’s needs.
