We are currently partnering with a leading global organisation within the aerospace and engineering sector to hire a Senior Financial Analyst on a long-term contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing finance team, playing a key role in financial reporting, forecasting, and process improvement within a complex and dynamic environment.
The Role
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will sit within a specialised finance team responsible for managing Time & Material (T&M) revenue, covering both P&L and Balance Sheet activities. You will take ownership of forecasting processes, financial reporting, and analysis, while working closely with Finance Business Partners and programme teams to deliver insights that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver monthly and year-end financial actuals for revenue streams
- Manage and maintain sales revenue data within SAP
- Support cross-functional teams on financial reporting and analysis
- Lead forecasting activities, including timelines, data coordination, and model management
- Provide variance analysis and financial insights at period-end
- Partner with stakeholders across finance and programme teams
- Drive continuous improvements to forecasting processes and models
- Mentor and support junior team members
What We’re Looking For
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong experience in forecasting, financial analysis, and sales reporting
- Background in cost of sales forecasting or commercial finance
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with SAP and Excel
- Ability to manage complex processes and meet deadlines
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
