An exciting opportunity has arisen for a career-oriented professional to join a London-based real estate investment team, contributing to the asset management function. The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring and enhancing the performance of a diverse portfolio of real estate investments across various strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with joint venture partners and operators to oversee and evaluate the ongoing performance of real estate investments.
- Assist in the preparation and review of annual business plans, operating budgets, and capital expenditure initiatives, ensuring accuracy and alignment with investment strategies.
- Deliver analysis for both existing assets and new investment opportunities, including development projects, refinancing scenarios, and potential disposals.
- Contribute to the production of internal investment committee materials and investor-facing reports, including quarterly performance updates and ad hoc reporting requests.
- Track debt covenant compliance and support forecasting to ensure proactive management of financial obligations across the portfolio.
- Liaise with external service providers including asset managers, administrators, and compliance consultants to ensure seamless execution of investment objectives.
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams such as fund operations, legal, compliance, and capital raising to ensure integrated portfolio management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Background in finance, accounting, or a related discipline (a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CFA is preferred).
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in real estate, asset management or investment.
- Solid understanding of real estate cash flow modeling, valuation methodologies, and joint venture structuring.
