We’re looking for an exceptionally creative and technical VFX Artist to help bring immersive gameplay and UI experiences to life on a high-profile project. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of art and technology, creating stunning realtime visual effects that elevate player experience across gameplay systems, menus, and interactive environments. You’ll collaborate closely with artists, UI designers, engineers, and technical teams to deliver polished, performant, and visually striking effects inside Unity. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and implement high-quality realtime VFX for gameplay and UI experiences
  • Create visually engaging effects using Unity’s VFX Graph, Particle Systems, Animations, and Timelines
  • Develop shaders, textures, sprite sheets, and meshes to achieve target visuals
  • Optimize VFX for mobile and VR performance while maintaining visual quality
  • Work closely with engineers and technical artists on tooling, rendering, and implementation workflows
  • Contribute to the overall visual direction and feel of interactive experiences

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience creating realtime VFX
  • 2+ years of hands-on Unity experience
  • Strong expertise in shader programming and rendering pipelines
  • Experience creating both gameplay and UI visual effects
  • Strong understanding of timing, motion, physics, color theory, and visual storytelling
  • Excellent technical art skills including:
  • Textures
  • Mesh creation
  • Sprite sheets
  • Shader development
  • Deep knowledge of:
    • Unity VFX Graph
    • Particle Systems
    • Timelines
    • Animations
  • Experience optimizing content for mobile and/or VR platforms
  • Ideal Background

    • Gaming industry experience
    • Cross-platform development exposure
    • Technical implementation and optimization expertise
