We are looking for a highly motivated Systems Engineer III who is passionate about modern workplace technologies, intelligent automation, and emerging AI solutions. This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional infrastructure support and play a key role in transforming how IT services are delivered across the business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Drive Modern Infrastructure Operations
- Manage and maintain Windows Server (2016–2022) and Windows 10/11 environments.
- Administer Microsoft Intune for device management, security, compliance, and endpoint configuration.
- Support core infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, networking, identity management, and storage.
- Ensure platform stability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring and continuous improvement.
- Engineer the Modern Digital Workplace
- Support and optimize Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
- Manage host pools, image lifecycle, monitoring, alerting, and automation within Azure.
- Configure and secure modern browser environments, including Island Secure Browser and Chromium-based browsers.
- Implement enterprise browser security controls, certificate management, authentication integrations, and compliance policies.
- Build Intelligent Automation & AI Solutions
- Design and develop PowerShell-based automation to eliminate repetitive operational tasks.
- Create solutions for automated user provisioning, compliance auditing, patch management, and system maintenance.
- Identify opportunities to leverage Agentic AI for: Autonomous incident triage, Self-healing infrastructure, Automated remediation workflows, Intelligent log analysis and summarization, Operational efficiency improvements.
- Solve Complex Technical Challenges
- Provide L2/L3 support across infrastructure, cloud, and endpoint technologies.
- Perform root cause analysis for complex incidents and recurring issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver technology solutions that create measurable value.
- Drive initiatives that reduce technical debt, improve reliability, and modernize existing platforms.
What We're Looking For
- Essential Experience
- ~5–7+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, or Systems Administration.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Windows Server and Windows endpoint management.
- Proven experience administering Microsoft Intune in enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, identity management, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Azure services, particularly Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure incidents.
- Bonus Points For
- Experience with Google Workspace administration.
- Exposure to Secure Browser technologies such as Island.
- Knowledge of Azure Automation, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
- Experience building AI-driven operational workflows or Agentic AI solutions.
- Understanding of SAML, OAuth, SSO, and certificate-based authentication.
- Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Configuring and Operating Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AZ-140)
- Certifications in Automation, AI Engineering, or Agentic AI technologies.
