HR Advisor – 3-Month Contract | Swindon (Hybrid)

Location: Swindon (2 days per week onsite – Wednesdays and one other fixed day)

Contract: Initial 3 months

IR35: Inside IR35

Rate: £375 per day (Umbrella)

We're looking for experienced HR Advisors to join a busy HR team on an initial 3-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with strong employee relations experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and partnering with stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on a range of people-related matters.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance issues.
  • Support organisational change initiatives and work closely with stakeholders throughout implementation.
  • Partner with managers to ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently.
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including coordinating job descriptions and supporting hiring processes.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and utilise HR systems effectively.
  • Build strong working relationships across the organisation and provide an excellent HR service.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and service delivery.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience working as an HR Advisor or in a similar generalist HR role.
  • Strong employee relations experience, including handling disciplinary and grievance cases.
  • Good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience supporting recruitment and wider HR operations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using HR systems and maintaining accurate employee records.
