We’re currently hiring Commercial Leads to join a high-profile, strategic programme within a major public sector environment. This is a senior, enterprise-level role focused on commercial leadership, governance, and procurement strategy—not a hands-on technical or delivery-focused position.
Location
- Preferred: Leeds (Quarry House)
- Alternative: Manchester (with regular travel to Leeds)
- On-site: 60% per week
Contract: Contract until 31 March 2027
The Role
You’ll provide strategic commercial leadership across a large-scale programme, helping shape delivery models while ensuring strong governance, procurement alignment, and stakeholder engagement across a complex environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial strategy at programme level
- Shape and assess delivery models
- Influence and engage senior stakeholders (Director to operational level)
- Ensure governance, assurance, and compliance
- Oversee end-to-end procurement lifecycle
- Drive alignment across cross-functional teams
Essential Experience
- Hands-on experience with HMT Green Book business cases
- Exposure to Public Accounts (PA) 2023
- Experience within large, complex public sector programmes
- Strong background in procurement & commercial lifecycle management
- Experience operating in high-assurance/governance environments
- Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
- Experience with CCS frameworks
Desirable
- Large-scale programme procurement experience
- MCIPS qualification
- Familiarity with Atamis
