About the Role

We’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to support a fast-paced internal manufacturing site. Your role will be key in keeping machines, electrical systems, and factory facilities running safely, efficiently, and without downtime. What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out electrical & mechanical maintenance, repairs, and installations
- Diagnose and fix electrical faults (with some mechanical work)
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns
- Support engineering projects and site improvements
- Ensure all work meets Health & Safety regulations
- Work closely with the Engineering Team Leader and wider team
- Manage and oversee external contractors and vendors
- Drive continuous improvement and lean engineering initiatives
- Keep records and documentation up to date
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience with preventative maintenance schedules
- Proactive mindset with a focus on improvement and reliability
- Comfortable working in a team-driven, safety-first environment
