We’re hiring a Finance Analyst to join a leading global engineering company within their Manufacturing Business Unit (MBU). This is a 12-month contract based in Derby, offering a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior finance and business teams in a highly visible role.
Only people with manufacturing experience will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:- Support financial reporting, forecasting, and business review processes
- Consolidate actuals & forecasts and prepare MBU inventory provision data
- Lead the MBU forecasting process and provide financial insights
- Partner with business teams to support decision-making and performance analysis
- Assist in governance, planning models, and headcount reviews
- +3 years experience as a Finance Analyst with strong business partnering skills
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in reporting and forecasting
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP & Hyperion (desirable)
- Qualified in AAT, Chartered, or Management Accounting (preferred)
- Background in manufacturing and standard costing is a plus

- Location: Hybrid – Derby 3 days per week with remaining days from home
- Contract: 12 months
- Hours: 37hrs per week
- Rate: Up to £472.50/day (Umbrella) | Up to £360.91/day (PAYE)
