OT Cyber Security Analyst – Contract Opportunity
Culham – 2 days/week onsite
Contract until 18/12/2026
We’re hiring an experienced OT Cyber Security Analyst to support a major critical infrastructure environment, focused on strengthening OT security controls, governance, and operational resilience across industrial systems. This role combines hands-on OT security engineering with governance and compliance activities, working closely with engineering teams and third-party providers to improve security maturity across ICS/OT environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and improve OT security controls and monitoring capabilities
- Support development of OT security strategy, policies, and standards
- Conduct OT risk assessments, gap analysis, and remediation planning
- Work with engineering and operational teams to ensure effective security implementation
- Support SIEM/SOC integration within OT environments
- Provide technical oversight and recommendations to MSPs/service providers
- Ensure alignment with frameworks including IEC 62443, NIST CSF, CAF, and ISO 27001
Essential Experience
- OT/ICS cyber security experience within oil & gas, rail, chemical processing, or similar critical infrastructure environments
- Strong understanding of OT networks, segmentation, and industrial protocols
- Experience implementing OT security strategies, policies, and standards
- Familiarity with SIEM/SOC integration for OT environments
- Experience with OT security assessments and remediation planning
- Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills
- Able to start within a maximum 2-week notice period
Desirable
- OT asset discovery and monitoring tools
- Exposure to NIS Directive / CAF compliance
- Knowledge of ITSM and service delivery lifecycle processes
