Weekend role focusing on EMEA countries and global trends. You will map social media by contextualizing and identifying relationships between subreddits and posts based on culture, trends, audience, genre and/or theme. You will create categories and label subreddits and posts to improve content understanding, resulting in better ML recommendations. You must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays and you can choose 1 weekday to work at your discretion.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with European Content Leads to implement content strategy.
- Drive Reddit’s understanding of different communities, content and audiences in EMEA.
- Understand policy and labeling guidelines and execute accurate labels based on those guidelines.
- Content labeling (maintaining the accuracy and coverage of our community topics and ratings).
- QA of Machine Learning results and creation of data-sets for Machine Learning training.
- Identifying common patterns in datasets and document insights based on labeling observations.
Required Qualifications:
- Native language proficiency and cultural knowledge of at least one of the following languages: French, Spanish or German.
- Experience with investigating, reviewing, or assessing digital content.
- Deep knowledge of and passion for Reddit, internet culture and online trends.
- Strong understanding of news, sports, cinema, business and cultural events.
Bonus Points:
- Multiple language capabilities.
- Experience as a successful content creator/curator/social media manager for TikTok/YouTube/Instagram.
- Experience as a moderator on Reddit.
