We are looking for an experienced Casework Team Leader to join a high-profile public sector project on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a background in government casework, operational delivery, and policy-led decision-making who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Hybrid (Whitehall, London) 1–3 days per week on site as required.

Contract: Until 31st March 2027

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team by providing coaching and mentoring (no direct line management responsibilities).
  • Make evidence-based decisions in a high-volume operational environment.
  • Apply government policies and procedures to casework.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver departmental priorities.
  • Manage complex casework while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Support operational delivery through accurate and timely case management.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working within or closely alongside UK Government.
  • Strong experience in evidence-based decision making.
  • Experience in operational delivery and rules-based casework.
  • Knowledge of government policy and policy-led environments.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including intermediate Excel.
