We’re hiring an Audio Engineer to join a world-leading AR and smart devices research lab, working on next‑generation audio experiences used in wearable technology and immersive reality products. This is a hands‑on, lab‑based role where you’ll work with cutting‑edge acoustic facilities and collaborate with some of the strongest audio and research engineers in the industry.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collect high-quality audio and video data in advanced acoustic labs
- Set up, test, calibrate, and maintain audio recording equipment
- Work with DAWs, microphones, audio interfaces, and speakers
- Process and validate audio data using scripts and command‑line tools
- Support data collection sessions with internal and external participants
- Partner closely with audio, research, and systems engineers
- Maintain meticulous documentation and data integrity
What We’re Looking For
Must-have:
- 2–4 years’ experience in audio engineering, sound engineering, or AV technician roles
- Strong hands‑on experience with audio recording setups and lab equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
- Genuine interest in sound, acoustics, or audio technology
Nice-to-have:
- Python or scripting experience
- Experience with large datasets (Excel, databases)
- Exposure to motion capture or positioning systems
