Job Description

Waste Officer Location – Aldermaston Rates – £40/hour CIS (all in rate) Longevity – 6 to 12 months What will you be doing?• You will be providing site-based oversight of waste-generating activities, • Implementing and monitoring waste characterisation, segregation and disposal processes, • Planning and coordinating waste activities with project teams and stakeholders, • Preparing/supporting the production of consignment documentation, • Liaising with internal advisors to ensure compliant waste handling and transport. Where will you be doing it?• Our client is a leading company within the nuclear waste management and decommissioning field. What you'll need:• You will need a waste management qualification or minimum 2 years' industry experience, • Working knowledge of waste management functions and relevant legislation, • Understanding of waste hierarchy principles and their application, • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation in the workplace, • Previous experience in the nuclear industry.
