Job Description

Russell Taylor Group are working in partnership with a leading property maintenance contractor to recruit a Social Housing Supervisor to oversee day-to-day works across responsive repairs, damp & mould, disrepair claims, and planned maintenance frameworks.This is a mobile role covering South London, Essex, and the surrounding Home Counties. You'll be supervising operatives and ensuring high standards are maintained across social housing properties, working closely with tenants, tradespeople, and internal teams.Key Responsibilities: • Supervise day to day repairs, damp & mould treatments, disrepair, and remedial works • Organise & manage trades & subcontractors across multiple sites • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, job specs and completion targets • Carry out pre and post inspections where required• Liaise with tenants, client reps, and office staff to resolve quickly and professionally • Keeping accurate records using internal systems and reporting toolsWhat We are Looking For:• Previous experience in a supervisory role within social housing • Knowledge of damp, mould and disrepair works • Comfortable managing multiple jobs across your regional patch • Excellent communication skills • Familiar with SOR Codes & Scheduler rates Package: • Starting Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 (DOE) • Company Van & Fuel Card • Mobile Phone • Ongoing support and development within a growing businessIf you are looking for a long-term role with a reputable company and make a difference – APPLY NOW or contact Steve Critchell at Russell Taylor Group London for more details.
