CAD Technician (Sales Office)

Location: Sutton in Ashfield, Nottingham

Salary: £25k

Who will you be working for?

Our client has been established for over 50 years. They specialize in the design, build, and testing of bespoke distribution solutions. They have the in-house expertise to meet all of their clients\’ LV distribution requirements. They manufacture LV switchgear, package substations, power distribution units, and more.

What will you be doing?

  1. Responsibility for complying with the Q&E management system within their level of activity.
  2. Creating Sales General Arrangement Layout drawings using AutoCAD from sketches produced by the internal and external sales team.
  3. Creating Sales General Arrangement Layout drawings using AutoCAD from customer drawings and specifications.
  4. Following receipt of an order, creating Contract General Arrangement Layout drawings and single-line power schematics using AutoCAD from tenders and customer information.
  5. Maintaining and updating CAD drawing blocks and templates, including creating new drawings for modified and new products.
  6. Attending meetings as required.
  7. Assisting the Sales department and clients with space planning exercises.
