Lead commissioning activities on water supply projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant system handovers. Manage and coordinate testing procedures (e.g. pressure, function, FAT/SAT) across treatment and distribution systems. Guide and support a team of Commissioning Engineers, ensuring delivery of key milestones. Collaborate with design, construction, and operational teams for smooth project transition. Develop and review commissioning plans, schedules, and reports in line with industry and regulatory standards.

What you’ll need:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar commissioning role, ideally in the water or utilities sector.
  • Proven electrical/ICA commissioning expertise and experience with SCADA/control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of clean water treatment processes, fault-finding, and operational parameters.
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations, risk assessments, and industry compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Relevant engineering qualification and knowledge of key stakeholders (e.g. DWI, OFWAT, EA).
