We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes in a school setting.
We have a number of schools around the Runcorn and Warrington area that require additional painter decorators for 5 - 6 weeks starting at the end of July. To work on these sites, you will require an in date DBS and a CSCS card, preferably a skilled card. An IPAF licence isnβt necessary, but you will hold an advantage if you have one. The hours on site will be 10hrs Monday to Friday, paid at Β£21phr, with a view to start on the 11th of July.
Requirements:- 4 years plus painting decorating experience
- CSCS card
- DBS check
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Select and mix colours to achieve desired effects.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with client specifications.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while working on-site.
- Proficient in various painting techniques and methods.
- Strong command of the English language for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Ability to drive to various job sites as required will be an advantage but not necessary.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
