Role: -NDT Technician (Phased Array & TOFD) Location: -Newcastle- Regular North East travel. Hours: -Monday to Thursday (7.30-16:30pm),Friday (phone number removed)pm) Salary: -£18 per hour, overtime available Benefits: -28 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension contributions (up to 8%), Electric Vehicle salary sacrifice scheme, discounts and saving benefits, health & wellbeing support via their employee assistance programme, company wide volunteering scheme, comprehensive training programme & Fundraising support. Russell- Taylor Group are recruiting for a testing organisation, on the lookout for an NDT Technician with Phased Array and TOFD certificates. You will be based at our client\’s site and on the road travelling around the Northeast to carry out tests, when on the road a company van is provided and if you are required to stay away from home then expenses will be paid. Responsibilities • Carrying out a range of NDT inspections including Phased Array and TOFD on different manufacturing and industrial sites. • Regular travel predominately around the Northeast and when required around other areas around the UK. • Ensure compliance with statutory and legislative requirements as well as client requirements. • Interpret and evaluate test results • Conduct equipment inspections and calibrations. • Collect, collate and report with sketches the result of the examination. • Work to international standards ensuring they are continually met. • Present reports with detailed information and maintain all records. The Person • Previous NDT experience is required – for this role they are looking for someone who can hit the ground running. • PCN Level 2 Phased Array and TOFD certs are essential. • Experience with IT systems is required to ensure that you can complete report writing. • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
