Russell Taylor are recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager for an Essex based leader in mechanical, electrical and refrigeration solutions, trusted by major names in commercial and retail sectors. Due to consistent growth, they are looking to add to their team.

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will take charge of delivering projects between £500k - £1.5m across retail and commercial sites. Managing installations of:

  • Public health systems
  • Ventilation systems
  • LTHW/CHW systems
  • Air conditioning systems

You will oversee the full project lifecycle - from procurement and workforce management to technical oversight and final handover, consisting of:

  • Management of internal teams, subcontractors and labour on site
  • Working closely with procurement and commercial teams
  • Ensuring smooth delivery of materials and sub-contract packages
  • Client and stakeholder liaison throughout
  • Keep budgets, timelines and resource on track
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on site issues
  • Drive quality, compliance and safety from start to finish

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Mechanical Project Manager (or similar)
  • Must have a background in pipefitting or plumbing (trade-qualified preferred)
  • Strong technical knowledge across HVAC, ventilation, and LTHW/CHW systems
