What will you be doing?
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on gas engines and associated plant
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and carrying out repairs
- Supporting plant uptime and minimising downtime across customer sites
- Completing detailed service reports and technical documentation
- Managing van stock, tools, and spare parts effectively
- Attending breakdown callouts as part of a rota
- Collecting and managing oil samples for analysis
- Supporting junior engineers and contributing to team development
Where will you be doing it?
Working for an established international energy business specialising in gas engine power solutions; operating across a regional UK patch in a customer facing role within industrial and energy generation environments, supported by a strong technical and operational team.
What will you need?
- Experience working on gas engines; CHP, or similar ideal
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault finding skills
- Engineering qualification in mechanical, electrical, or similar
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable using IT systems for reporting and diagnostics
- Willingness to travel and work away occasionally
- Gas Safe qualification advantageous but not essential
