MUST be UK passport holder and current UK national without dual citizenship. Having lived also in UK for last 10 years.

Our client is looking for someone to oversee the Projects side of the Health and Safety division, managing the workload being undertaken and how this is reported and billed to the client on a major Nuclear facility.

Ideally looking for someone who has been project heavy, with a Nebosh or equivalent.

Key Objectives

  • Drive the objectives set out in the ESH&Q Functional Strategy that align with the Project Services function and ensure the Strategic goals remain in focus.
  • Manage and support technical development and production of ESH&Q documentation for various construction, decommissioning and waste management projects.
  • Lead and monitor continuous improvement of ESH&Q performance on projects.
  • Assess project compliance with customer contract and process requirements.

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Construction / General Certificate
  • Degree in a relevant subject area would be desirable
  • Project Management
  • CSCS Card / SMSTS

Experience and Knowledge

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience undertaking a management role in a nuclear regulated environment.
  • Experience of working in a project delivery environment within the nuclear industry.
  • Management experience / commercial awareness.
  • CDM knowledge and experience of working in a construction environment.
  • Experience of preparing and presenting management information and reports.
