Overview
We are seeking a skilled Class 2 refuse driver to join our team in wrexham
Hours 6am-6pm typically finish by 4/5pm
Duties
- Safely manoeuvre vehicles within the yard and designated areas.
- Perform shunting operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods to loading and unloading zones.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements and deliveries.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to facilitate smooth loading and unloading processes.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while operating vehicles on-site.
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns regarding vehicles promptly.
Requirements
- Valid CPC, Driver qual card and driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Confident in reversing into loading bays.
- Strong understanding of vehicle operation and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Flexibility in working hours may be required based on operational needs.
