Job description:
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years experience a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As one of our Drivers, you will be responsible for transporting Palettes to various locations (typically 3-4 delivery\’s), ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. Your expertise in flatbed driving will be essential in this role.
Furthest you will drive is Doncaster less than Coventry.
Duties
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Proficient in reversing
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Class 1 Driver
- Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) is essential.
