We seek a Solicitor/CILEX with at least 3 years’ experience; STEP accreditation is desirable. The role is based in Bolton, but may require work at other branches, so a car is essential.
The position involves developing opportunities through networking and advising on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Probate. Opportunities for progression are available for self-motivated, independent workers. Ongoing training and support are provided.
Job Responsibilities- Manage a caseload and maintain case management systems
- Provide professional service to clients
- Work with elderly clients and families, including home visits
- Take instructions for Wills, Powers of Attorney, Probate, and Court of Protection
- Draft legal documents
- Submit applications to Probate Registry
- Meet deadlines and maintain accurate files
- Prepare correspondence and reports
- Proactively pursue career development and transferable skills
- Knowledge of Mental Capacity Act
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
- Proficient IT skills
