Position: Private Law Solicitor – Family Dept.

Location: Newport Street, Bolton Office or Greater Manchester offices

Hours: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm - Monday to Friday (1 Hour Lunch)

Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience.

We have a vacancy for a Private Law solicitor who can run a mixed caseload of private family law files, including divorce/finance, children and domestic violence files to work in our busy family department based at our Newport Street, Bolton office.

Position will involve travel to courts and other offices; candidate must have a car available for work use.

Ongoing training, guidance and support from the team is provided.

Job Role

Duties

• Run own private caseload
• Capability of undertaking a mix of Legal Aid & Private Family work in all areas
• Ability to use CCMS and have a sound understanding of legal aid criteria
• Willingness to conduct own advocacy

Skills Required

• Experience in private law
• Good organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail (accuracy essential)
• Good communication skills
• Good IT skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Friendly and professional manner
