Location: Bolton (Newport Street)

Office Hours: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm - Monday to Friday (1 Hour Lunch)

Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience.

We have a vacancy for a Private Law Secretary/Legal Assistant to work in our very busy Family Department at our Bolton Office. Ongoing training, guidance and support from the team is provided.

Duties

  • Providing full secretarial assistance to a solicitor
  • Some audio typing but ability to work under instruction an advantage
  • Arranging appointments and meetings
  • Telephone contact with clients and outside agencies
  • Diary management
  • Database work

Skills Required

  • Experience in private law at secretarial level
  • Excellent typing ability
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail (accuracy essential)
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team
