An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join our team at our Cumbernauld Warehouse as a Quality Assistant.
You’ll support quality assurance, audits, training, and compliance activities to ensure we meet BRCGS and customer standards.
- Part Time – Permanent Role
- Monday to Friday, 0930 to 1430
- Some flexibility may be required when audits are taking place (advanced notice given)
Key Responsibilities
- Support internal audits, quality checks, and ensure compliance with BRCGS, HACCP, TACCP & VACCP.
- Maintain audit schedules and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Conduct GMP audits, stock checks, and report on KPIs.
- Manage quality-related documentation and liaise with regulatory bodies.
- Deliver inductions, maintain training records, and support ongoing staff training.
- Act as a point of contact for quality queries and assist in communication across departments.
- Monitor supplier and contractor compliance.
About You
- Experience in food manufacturing or quality assurance preferred.
- Knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, allergen control, and root cause analysis.
- Strong Excel and reporting skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- HACCP and internal auditing training desirable (training can be provided).
