This is a rare opportunity to join our Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence team handling varied and high-quality work. We are seeking a highly motivated, professional candidate with excellent academics and sound experience in clinical negligence who can demonstrate commercial awareness and a history of maintaining good client relationships.
The ideal candidate will be confident and enthusiastic and will be able to demonstrate experience of a wide range of Claimant injury litigation work. They will be able to demonstrate an energetic commitment to contributing to the success of the team.
What you’re like:
- Educated to degree level and preferably with a 2:1 or above
- A solicitor of 2 years PQE
- You are a highly motivated and professional
- You are quick thinking and a fast learner
- You have broad experience in Claimant litigation work

Core Legal Duties:
- To provide a high quality legal service to all Russell-Cooke clients.
- To provide a high quality experience to our clients in terms of service delivery.
- To develop and maintain good client relationship skills, gaining clients’ confidence and that of your colleagues.
- To establish what needs to be done to solve a client’s problem.
- To offer advice on the law, legal procedures and a wide range of associated issues.
- To attend and represent Russell-Cooke at client meetings and conferences.
- To represent clients in Courts where required.

- To work and behave in a professional manner and to the highest standards of the profession.
- To comply with procedures set out in Russell-Cooke’s Office Manual, professional standards and any requirement set by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
- To carry out duties given by the partners or employees faithfully and diligently and follow all reasonable instructions.

- To treat all information about the firm and its clients and their business as wholly confidential.
- To keep up-to-date with changes in the law.
- To record all chargeable hours.
