A critical support role in ensuring the smooth execution of production processes, supplier coordination, quality tracking, and logistics management. Reports to the Production Manager and provides hands-on assistance in tracking production schedules, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring clear communication between internal teams and external manufacturing partners. The role is designed for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who is eager to develop expertise in footwear and accessories manufacturing while supporting the Production Manager in executing key operational functions.

Production Coordination & Scheduling

  • Assist in tracking production timelines, ensuring factories meet critical path deadlines.
  • Maintain production schedules and supplier tracking sheets, updating the Production Manager on potential delays or bottlenecks.
  • Assist in issuing discounts and cancellations requests to factories due to production delays.
  • Support in creating and amending production POs.
  • Communicate with factories gathering status updates on raw materials, manufacturing progress, and shipment schedules.
  • Coordinate weekly with warehouse and factory to manage production intake.
  • Support in resolving logistical challenges related to raw materials, trims, and finished goods movement.
  • Maintain detailed records of supplier contracts, lead times, and delivery performance.
  • Help organize and track factory visits, audits, and compliance assessments.
  • Gather and analyse supplier performance data, providing insights to the Production Manager on areas of improvement.
  • Support in organizing material and product testing to comply with REACH, safety, and sustainability standards.
  • Support in scheduling QC in region, at the factories. Liaising with the QC team, providing all the relevant information needed.
  • Ensure all production batches adhere to compliance guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and production agreements.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly production reports, summarizing key updates for the Production Manager.
  • Assist in coordinating internal and external production-related meetings with cross-functional teams.
  • Assist and complete ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Experience & Expertise

  • 1-3 years experience in footwear, accessories, or apparel production, logistics, or supply chain.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, manufacturing timelines, and supplier coordination.
  • Basic knowledge of quality control procedures and compliance standards (REACH, sustainability, ethical sourcing) is a plus.
  • Experience in working with European and international suppliers is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of production activities.
  • Ability to be a supportive and contributing member of a cross-functional team.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic team environment.
