Russell & Bromley is thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new store in Belfast in March 2025, marking our very first location in Northern Ireland. As the Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in launching this exciting new chapter for the brand. You’ll be responsible for driving sales, building a cohesive and effective management team, and ensuring operational excellence while delivering exceptional customer experiences. This is an opportunity to lead by example, setting the tone for a high-performing, motivated team that upholds Russell & Bromley’s premium brand values. Reporting to the Area Manager, you’ll also collaborate with the Head Office team to ensure a successful opening and ongoing alignment with the brand’s vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the store’s launch, ensuring a smooth opening process and establishing its presence as a key retail destination in Belfast.
- Build a strong, cohesive, and effective management team, ensuring alignment with the company’s values and standards.
- Drive store performance by achieving and exceeding sales targets through exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
- Maintain the highest standard of professional service at all times, acting as a role model for the team.
- Train, develop, and inspire all levels of staff to reach their maximum potential.
- Effectively manage staff recruitment, conducting interviews to secure the best talent for all vacancies.
- Address and resolve staff issues sensitively, professionally, and effectively.
- Oversee store administration, stock security, cash desk procedures, and trade expenses.
- Maintain impeccable visual merchandising standards, planning and evaluating both window and interior displays based on the Display Guide.
- Conduct regular team briefings to communicate goals, updates, and priorities effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, promoting loyalty and repeat business.
- Monitor and analyse sales and KPI data to identify growth opportunities and implement effective strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
- Oversee stock management, including deliveries, inventory accuracy, and replenishment, to maximise sales opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activity to stay informed on market trends and customer expectations.
