Office Hours: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm – Monday to Friday (1 Hour Lunch)

We have a vacancy for a Conveyancing Assistant to work in our busy Conveyancing Department based at our Bolton office. The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
Job role
- To assist with all client work provided by the fee earner, in accordance with the firm's procedures.
- To provide a friendly, knowledgeable and professional service to our clients.
- To prepare mail and enclosures for despatch.
- To deal with accounting processes including preparation of bank transfers for authorisation.
- Organisation of post and emails on behalf of the fee earner and taking messages.
- Maintenance of a diary for the fee earner.
- To administer filing systems which include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files.
- Use of the online case management system on the fee earner's instructions.
Skills Required
- Experience of Conveyancing is essential.
- Needs an ability to multi-task and work under pressure with a considerate and kind manner.
- Good organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail (accuracy essential).
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Good IT skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a law degree and a strong desire to work within a conveyancing team.
