Seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead financial strategy, drive operational excellence, and provide oversight for both the Finance and other functions over multiple locations. The Director of Finance is responsible for directing all financial activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting strategic planning, and partnering with operations to help drive efficient and profitable performance. This role also includes leadership oversight of HR, requiring strong people management and organizational development skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Oversee timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Analyze economic trends and market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop strategies to optimize cash management and maximize financial efficiency.
- Improve working capital performance across receivables, payables, and inventory-related processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
- Partner with HR to support organizational development, training, and compliance with employment regulations.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, audits, and financial regulations.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that support company goals.
- Communicate financial performance, strategy, and insights to executives, operational leaders, and the board of directors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Experience overseeing or partnering closely with Human Resources.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, cost accounting, and internal controls.
