We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Administration Manager to lead administration, facilities and health & safety services across our college sites in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Reporting to the College Principal, you will oversee administrative operations across our educational and residential services, including reception, managing a dedicated team and ensuring efficient, compliant and high-quality support services.
You will play a key role in health and safety compliance, records management, procurement, facilities oversight, audit preparation and supporting the Senior Management Team. We are looking for a proactive, flexible and solution-focused professional who is committed to safeguarding, health and safety, equality, diversity and delivering excellent service standards.
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience managing administration functions
- Proven experience leading teams in a busy environment
- Strong organisational, communication and IT skills are essential, with the ability to successfully manage competing priorities
- Experience of managing records, compliance processes, budgets and contracts
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to motivate, support and manage the performance of others
- High levels of discretion, professionalism and confidentiality
- Experience within education or a regulated setting would be advantageous
