Based in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire
We are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer for our Corporate Finance Team at Ruskin Mill Trust. This role is key within the Finance Team covering payroll and other duties for all entities within Ruskin Mill Trust, which will include Colleges, Schools, subsidiary companies or the wider Trust.
For full details of duties please refer to Job Description but will include:
- Processing monthly payroll for a multi-site complex organisation and produce the period close reports for each entity.
- Deputising for the Finance and Payroll Manager with regards to payroll processes and responsibilities in event of their absence.
- Keeping up to date with payroll legislation, ensuring that RMT and its subsidiaries always maintain compliance.
- Adhering to HMRC rules and to manage submissions to HMRC on monthly and annual basis.
- Providing support to the payroll officer in ensuring pension submissions are sent on monthly basis and information is kept up to date.
- Managing the process of attachment of earnings with local councils, ensuring that employees are aware of the impact of any instructions received.
