Registered House Manager
Salary Range £36,212- £37,672 per annum
(Includes market supplement, starting salary based on experience and qualifications)
40 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Sleep-ins paid at an extra £78.48 per night
(This equates to approximately £3,500 additional payment when working 1 sleep-in shift per week)
We are seeking a Registered House Manager based either at our home in Clynderwen, Pembrokeshire or in Carmarthen.
You will be responsible for overseeing and supervising an allocated group of residential staff and provision within our small residential care homes.
In order to be successful in this role you will:
• Significant operational experience in a care environment working with all levels of staff and management
• demonstrate the ability to manage emotionally challenging situations, be a team player with experience of
support work in both educational and residential settings
• ensure the effective operation of a small care home for young people attending Coleg Plas Dwbl
• Have a high level of personal resilience and emotional and social intelligence
• oversee and supervise the residential staff within a minimum of two care homes, ensuring they are appropriately trained and supported.
• ensure that all activities within the households are carried out in compliance with regulation and represent
the seven Care Qualities of Transform Residential Limited and Ruskin Mill Trust.
• work collaboratively with the Head of Residential and R.I to reflect the quality of the service provided during inspections by the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) inspections.
• Ideally have a relevant qualification to allow for approval as a registered manager with Care Inspectorate Wales and Social Care Wales.
Due to the locations of some of our team houses – being a driver with access to your own vehicle is essential
