Role Overview
Join Seol Trust and Ruskin Mill Trust as part of the committed daytime support team focusing on the holistic needs of participants. This role can be physically and emotionally demanding, requiring confidence and patience to manage challenging behaviours presented by the participants.
Key Responsibilities
You will support and guide participants to access their programme of activities and promote their welfare during the day. Most activities take place outdoors on our 60‑acre site and include horticulture, woodland and site management, animal husbandry, catering, and crafts. You must be prepared to work outdoors in all weathers. The role may involve part of the week working one‑to‑one with participants, and the remainder supporting other participants.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience or training in outdoor activities, horticulture or care of animals is desirable. Ability to work independently and adapt to changing circumstances. Reliability, empathy, and good communication skills.
