We are seeking a licensing officer to join our team which is responsible for alcohol, gambling, taxis, street trading, pavement licensing, scrap metal dealers, animal licensing, mobile homes / campsites, sex establishments and charitable collections.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will help regulate the licensing regimes through inspections and investigations, as well as processing applications.
- Give effect to a range of enforcement options, attend hearings, reviews, give evidence in court and help ensure that our licensing policies and objectives are achieved.
- Process licence applications and help applicants, interested parties and other regulatory agencies to achieve appropriate licensing outcomes.

- Location: Council Offices, Farnborough Road, Farnborough, Hampshire
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Hours: 22.5 hours per week (4.5 hours per day, Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm). Some work outside normal office hours may be required.
- Salary: £24,796.82 - £28,691.18 for 22.5 hours per week
