We are seeking an apprentice to join our Place Protection Team, working with the Place Protection Officers and Community Safety team. The successful candidate will work predominantly in the office administering the case management system for Environmental Crime such as fly tipping, abandoned vehicles and graffiti. The candidate will also be the first point of contact for customers with antisocial behaviour enquiries.
The role involves regular communication with customers - either face to face, in writing and over the telephone - organising interviews under caution, providing advice regarding potential offences and ensuring accurate and timely data is updated and held on our systems. Building relationships with stakeholders and colleagues is vital for the success of the team.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing and managing the email inboxes for both Place Protection and Community Safety.
- Attending meetings, minute-taking and providing administrative support to the Community Safety team and wider colleagues.
- Helping the Place Protection Team continually improve our services, actively involved in implementing systems to automate and streamline processes and reviewing procedures.
Qualifications
We are looking for an enthusiastic, accurate, diligent, team-player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who has the ability to learn new IT systems. You'll be working towards a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship and learning aspects of legislation associated with Environmental Crime and Community Safety.
