Salary: Grade 3, Points 5-6 (Actual Salary £22,746) FTE £26,634 - £27,058

37 hours per week, Term Time (38.6 weeks per year) plus 3 Professional Learning Days

Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:00pm

Friday 8:00am to 3:30pm with ½ hour unpaid lunch daily

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to our team of science technicians who is keen to help students achieve the very best by assisting teachers with their teaching of practical science.

This post will involve contact with vulnerable groups (children, young people and/or adults) and is therefore exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and subject to an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (DBS) Disclosure check. This exemption means that shortlisted applicants for this post will be required to declare all criminal convictions, cautions, reprimands, and bind-overs both spent and unspent in their application, before interview and regardless of the passage of time.
