My client is a successful, dynamic and expanding business services company within their niche sector. Due to ongoing expansion, they now wish to recruit a hands-on Marketing Co-Ordinator to take responsibility for the day-to-day marketing functions of the business. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to drive the marketing function and to come up with innovative and interesting marketing strategies. There will be future long term career prospects for the successful candidate.
SUMMARY OF KEY DUTIES
- Marketing Strategy and Planning
- Writing/editing articles for social media and client sites
- Optimisation of existing owned channels
- Content creation and optimisation
- Lead and manage SEO and SEM
- Lead and manage the updating of the company’s web presence
- Implement marketing processes
- Manage and deliver important communications programmes
- Market research and follow up engagement
THE PERSON
- A Degree in Marketing, PR or closely related subject
- A minimum of 1-2 years post degree marketing experience in a commercial/business setting essential
- Experience/knowledge of using social media for company marketing purposes
- Website performance analysis and follow up engagement
- Able to work on their own initiative without the need for supervision
- Confident in their ability to advise the Directors on marketing ideas and strategies
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Highly I.T. literate

WORKING LOCATION
This role will be office based Monday to Friday.
SALARY / HOURS
A starting salary up to £32k will be on offer to the successful candidate. In addition, there will be the opportunity for career progression and future increases as the role develops.
